DEMONS SEED from Saarland, Germany is an excellent Newcomer Metal-Act influenced by bands like IRON MAIDEN and other NWoBHM heroes. The band was founded in March 2003 by guitarists Thomas and Michael Dörr, bassist Jochen Theis and drummer Sebastian Jager. A few months later vocalist Paul Bellmann joined the band and DEMONS SEED played their first gigs.
Due to musical differences drummer Sebastian Jager left the band and in October 2003 Oliver Jungmann (ex-MYSTERIUM, TOMORROWS EVE) joined. In April 2004, DEMONS SEED recorded their first 5-song-demo „Watch the demon arise“ in Oliver´s own studio. The demo CD got great reviews in the Metal underground and showed the enormous talent of this young band, and so BATTLE CRY RECORDS decided to sign the band for a full length album.
Now, in April 2006, DEMONS SEED`s debut album „DAWN OF A NEW WORLD“ is finally ready to be released. All the 10 tracks show, that DEMONS SEED ia a phantastic new 80ties Metal band that every fan of heavier NWoBHM-acts like IRON MAIDEN, ANGEL WITCH, CLOVEN HOOF or JAGUAR will definitely love.
